She spends most of her days and nights rocking and rolling her socks off.And all that dancing has clearly paid off for actress Roxanne Pallett who looked sensational as she soaked up the rays on holiday. The former Emmerdale star was snapped looking trim and toned in her bikini as she enjoyed a short break in Spain this weekend.

Roxanne, 27, was enjoying a couple of days break from her gruelling touring schedule with the musical Rock Around The Clock. The musical takes theatre-goers through the music and dances of the 1950s and features non-stop classic songs from Bill Haley and the Comets, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis. Roxanne joined the cast in June as the production arrived in Windsor and has since performed all over the UK.

She and the cast had a couple of days off from the tour this weekend, so she escaped the cooler climes of the UK and headed to Spain to catch the last of the summer sun. Let's hope she made the most of it, as she was back in the UK yesterday as the tour arrived in the Derbyshire spa town of Buxton for two nights at the Opera House. On Friday, the show heads to Tunbridge Wells in Kent for three nights before wrapping up in Coventry at the Belgrade Theatre.

Roxanne is best known for her role as Jo Stiles, the femme-fatale-turned-battered-wife of Andy Sugden in the ITV soap Emmerdale. After leaving in 2008, she took part in ITV's Dancing On Ice and was due to play the lead role in Cinderella in panto in 2009, but she pulled out after starting performances following the sudden death of a close friend. She recently made her Hollywood debut starring in the made-for-television film Lake Placid 3, which aired at the end of last month.
