Shakira and new boyfriend Gerard Piqué share a passionate kiss on magazine cover

They've been romantically linked since last year but are rarely seen out together. But now Shakira and Spanish footballer Gerard Piqué have made their relationship official - as a photograph of the couple sharing a passionate kiss has been used on the cover of Colombian magazine Caras. he 34-year-old singer is seen closing her eyes and leaning in for a romantic embrace with her 24-year-old sportsman beau.

Shakira announced at the start of the year that her 11-year relationship with lawyer Antonio de la Rua, 37, the eldest son of the former Argentinian premier, amid rumours that he had been cheating on her. And last month, Piqué, who plays for FC Barcelona, uploaded a photograph from his birthday on February 2 of himself and the Colombian singer celebrating with friends.
The singer first met Piqué last spring while shooting the video to her song Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) - the official track of the 2010 World Cup. Barcelona-based newspaper El Periodico de Catalunya claimed they had a string of secret encounters following their initial meeting. It said they both spent a night in the seven-room Hotel Atzaro in Ibiza last July. The footballer is said to have arrived and left wearing the same clothes.

However, Shakira has previously dismissed reports of a romance. At a press conference in Barcelona she described the claims as a 'waka-rumour' and added: 'You shouldn't take any notice of waka-rumours.' Pique was also quick to deny that they were lovers, telling reporters last month: 'We're just friends. There's nothing more to it.'

But in February, the pair were spotted holding hands as they left a restaurant in Barcelona, finally confirming rumours of a romance. Shakira announced her split from De La Rua, son of former Argentine president Fernando de la Rua, on her official website in January.

The couple said: 'During our almost 11 years together we have loved each other deeply, taken care of each other and stood by one another. 'They have been the most wonderful years of our lives, and thanks to that love and the respect we have shared for one another, we have been an exceptional couple and partners.'

Our friendship and understanding of one another is unwavering and indestructible.' The couple added that they viewed their separation as temporary, and that de la Rua - who is also Shakira's agent - would continue to oversee the singer's business and career interests. 'We move forward together as partners, developing projects together, working hand in hand and in close communication,' the pair said.

Kate Moss enjoys a drink and a cigarette as she sunbathes topless on St Tropez yacht

Kate Moss certainly lives the champagne lifestyle. But as she cruised around the French Riviera on a yacht called Serenity yesterday, she cradled a tumbler of what looked like chilled white wine. The blonde model, who originally hailed from Croydon, drank from the large glass and smoked her way through a pack of cigarettes as she soaked up the sun with a group of friends.At one point she even took a bite from an ice cream - just the one though - she is a supermodel, after all.

Kate, 35, wore a retro denim and red gingham bikini, accessorised with a large diamond on her right hand. She then topped up her tan by pulling off her bikini top in favour of a sarong, while her female friends were equally relaxed about stripping off.

Kate then got behind the lens to snap some shots of her friends, before they laughingly admired her handiwork. The model and rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince, guitarist for The Kills, later embraced as they enjoyed a dip in the sea. Kate and Jamie are on holiday with a large group of friends, and Kate's six-year-old daughter Lila Grace.

But like many a celebrity family, they have been joined by an assistant and two massive bodyguards — who appear to be on babysitting duty for Lila. Earlier Kate and her entourage dropped into Saint-Tropez for a spot of shopping.

Her group tried to blend in with locals and holidaymakers, but as they wandered into the port-side café Le Senequier, they still managed to attract attention. It wasn't Kate's tiny hotpants and long legs that turned heads though.

Jamie and Kate drew attention after they appeared to squabble about where to sit. Although friends say the couple are still happy, sources have revealed they are often bickering. A recent argument was caused after Kate draped a rabbit skin throw over their bed.

A friend told the Mirror: 'Huge conflict has flared up between the pair over what Jamie claims is Kate’s disregard for animal welfare. He is a strict vegan who won’t even touch cow’s milk and is horrified by Kate’s insistence on wearing fur and having it around the home.' They added: 'Their argument ended pretty abruptly with Jamie storming off, calling Kate a "cow killer".'

Moonlight kisses for Uma Thurman as she enjoys a topless dip with fiancé Arki

Uma Thurman's romance with financier fiancé Arpad 'Arki' Busson is going just swimmingly, judging by their latest dalliance. The pair slipped off for a moonlight swim while holidaying together in Italy, exchanging kisses as they cooled off from the hot summer night. Earlier the couple, who have spent time with Irish actor Liam Neeson and his wife Natasha Richardson during their European jaunt, had enjoyed a romantic dinner together.

The pair announced their plans to wed in the personal columns of The Times earlier this year, followed by an engagement party of stellar proportions. A marquee in the garden of Arki's £10million Kensington home played host to an array of stars, including Elton John, Sting, Sir Philip Green, Jemima Khan, Claudia Schiffer and Damien Hirst. She met the 45-year-old financier and philanthropist at a dinner party in Milan last summer, having just split up from her partner of three years, the New York hotelier Andre Balazs.

The Pulp Fiction actress hasn't ruled out having children with Arki.

Call the PDA police! Gisele Bundchen can’t stop kissing Tom Brady… as her sister-in-law tries to ignore them

They may have married back in 2009 but Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady act like a couple still very much in the honeymoon stages of a relationship. The 30-year-old model couldn’t keep her hands off her husband as the pair watched a street procession from a hotel balcony in Rio de Janeiro. Ignoring Tom’s sister sat right next to them the Brazilian model draped herself all over Tom and the couple couldn’t stop kissing.

The brunette woman who was thought to be Tom's sister, had been enjoying a chat with Brady before Gisele appeared from the hotel room and took his attention.

As the couple, who have a daughter together, sat candooling Miss Brady sat forward on the seat and tried to ignore the public displays of affection as she watched the floats go past. And who could blame the footballer player from being besotted with his model wife, who appeared in a tiny gold bikini earlier in the day to top up her tan.

Gisele emerged from the hotel room and within second she and Brady were indulging in some serious public displays of affection


Gisele has been staying at the Hotel Fasano with her husband, New Englands Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and also members of their families. The couple jetted in on Saturday ahead of the famous carnival festivities and Gisele has made her appearance performing the samba on a giant float in the famous Sambadrome later that night.

The world's highest paid model was proudly watched from the audience by Brady and fellow celebrities Jude Law and Pamela Anderson. Joining Gisele on the float was her mother Valdir and sisters-in-law Nancy and Julie Brady, who took some last minute samba lessons the day before. The model, who has a 15-month-old son Benjamin, had been Tweeting frantically in the run up to the big day.

She admitted she had been listening to the song and learning the words in anticipation of her performance. She wrote: 'We are taking a Samba class with a Samba dancer from the Vila Isabel Samba School. She has been dancing since she was six years old.'I'm going to do my best and see if I can do this. OK, here we go.' Gisele attends carnival every year, but usually just enjoys the dancing from the stands. She enthused: 'Carnival is very important to Brazil and is known around the world for being the ultimate joy filled celebration...'I think the rest of the world has no idea of the involvement. It takes so much dedication and care from everyone who works on it..'
