Handmade Holidays

The tree lighting was a success! We got to see some friends, mingle with Santa and share a few laughs. Steve has all the videos trapped in his camera, I am hoping to post them to youtube later today.

This Saturday is going to be nuts - I can hardly contain myself. Fed Ex is delivering me my first peek at my new book. I'll just have a few days for any additional notes etc. and then it is off to the printer on December 21! I am so excited to see all the pictures of the dogs dressed to the nines. And we have an official title.....
Bow Wow WOW! - Fetching Costumes for Your Fabulous Dog.

Also next week - Don't miss:
Creative Juice for the Holidays on DIY
December 10th at 1:30 eastern and December 13th at 1:00 eastern and
Holiday Giftnanza on DIY
December 10th at 2:30 eastern and Dec 13th at 2:00 eastern

I have been scouting for some cute handmade kids gifts over at etsy. I found so many cute and inspiring ideas and I thought I would share them with you.

Check out this adorable tea tray - complete with play cookies! These quaint (and one-of-kind) tea time goodie sets can accompany any tea set you might have.

This is from Nicolea27 -
Nicolea27's etsy shop
Nicole Anastas's website

How cute is this little critter - they remind me of the monster cubes we made in a kids episode of Creative Juice. This one comes from a new seller over at etsy: Ziggy Star Dog

This little pup is named Tom and he is from etsy seller patti haskins. One thing I love about Tom was that he was crocheted free form (not using a pattern) The artist just let their imagination go.

I am off to the kitchen to make some homemade soup and to my desk for a power day of updating my website. Believe it or not I am working on New Year's Eve and Valentines Day Ideas.

Cheers,

Cathie
