Marcia, Marcia, Marcia, Meth

unusual string of relationships

Maureen McCormick, the woman who played Marcia Brady on the original Brady Bunch (not to be confused with Ben Stiller's wife, Christine Taylor, who played her in the movies) penned a memoir about the dark days following her role on the series about the perfect family. Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice, contains all the illicit nose-candy and Quaalude addiction you'd expect from a 70's teen icon, and of course, all the requisite name-dropping as well:

In addition to discussing an unusual string of relationships with Steve Martin, Michael Jackson and her TV bro Barry Williams, the actress and sometime country singer also reveals that she once traded sex for drugs and engaged in full-on binges at the Playboy Mansion and at the home of Sammy Davis Jr.

It seems a little late for a tell all book about The Brady Bunch, since these days it's common knowledge that behind every perfect TV family there is a story of drug-abuse, unhappy relationships, and eating disorders that last more than 30 minutes. Just look at the cast of Full House.

But hey, everyone needs to get paid. So how about a reality show featuring McCormick and Jodie Sweetin, aka Stephanie from FH, who also struggled with a debilitating drug addiction and a spiral into obscurity. It would be like My Two Coreys meets Celebrity Rehab, with the duo living together and doing sober activities but still having time to council one another on the perils of growing up on television. E! or VH1 would eat that shit up.
